I am rather surprise that Ho Chi Minh city's airport is situated near residential area, and it is right in the middle of the city. I thought the airport are usually located near the waters.

Ho Chi Minh city is famous for the dangerous road. Boyfriend and I were slightly afraid when it comes to crossing the road. Look at the vehicles. We took one day to adjust to the road condition, and were confident in crossing the road after that. We were told by the locals that although it looks dangerous to cross the road in Ho Chi Minh, but in the actual fact it is not. There are alot more motorbikes rather than cars and other larger vehicles, and the traffic rules are pretty strict there, in which they are only allowed to travel between 20 to 40km/h. The bike drivers have good skills in riding too, they will definitely miss you just by centimeters, they brush by you. Sounds scary? But with the fact that we are not injured, I guess it should be safe enough.

We joined the XO tour when we touched down the city, they offer really good service. We just have to tell them what we want to get, and they will bring us on the bike to get the items. They brought us to the local market too, and it was really an experience. They gave us alot of advice, and took great care of us. It is a 5 star service!

Our another target destination is also to the French bakery, Tous les Jours. It is a small bakery shop cum cafeteria, and they actually have many chains around Saigon. I find that they have very nicely decorated cakes.
