It feels good to see clique, and be with them! Of cos seeing other familiar faces, and also lecturers! To think that 3 years just past like that, when I am praying that this day will come fast during year 1. However, as I recalled my poly life, the only thing that I am really involved in is CO, because whatever SCL holds, I did not participate. For me, without CO, it's like no life. HAHA!
Indeed rushing through projects, lab reports, presentation slides, etc were really mad, but it is the process when we grow, and gain knowledge, as well as learning to accept ideas by other team members, learning to get along with each other, because like what the lecturers always had mention "In real life, you don't get to choose your working partner, unless your father opens the company". It is very true, and I am thankful for that sentence, as it serves as a reminder for me, for life.
No pain, no gain. Only with combination of 酸,甜,苦,辣, we will then grow, and mature. We grumble, quarrel or even argue ranging from minor to major stuffs, we sometimes have unhappiness towards certain person, or even feeling jealous of someone, however, we all do share sweet memories together as well. No matter how one hates another, we all actually did help each other to grow in one way or another.
Friends, there is no over-night hatred, because they're just like a second family member (non-blood related family). They listen to your rants, curse the person you hate with you, comfort you when you cry or feeling unhappy, teach you what you don't understand during lectures, share food with you, goes to catch a movie when there is a 4 hrs break, and/ or some times even skipped certain lectures with you. They are someone you have bonded with for 3 years or even more, if you had known them before even entering the poly.
Lecturers, they are the funniest people. They were strict with you when it's at work, but nice to get along with privately. Some are super boring, some are average, while others are humorous. Regardless of which category the lecturers are in, they somehow had instill us with certain knowledge, which will stick to us for life, it can be techniques, some quotes, or other knowledge.
In all, NYP is not only a place to study, but also fun. I have not only gain a diploma cert, but also met many nice people, and befriended them. In addition, I had also met my love there, whom saw me through for half of my poly life!
I am thankful to my friends, family and of cos the boyfriend for giving me support and encouragement throughout my poly life. =)
